INITIATIVE PROGRAM FOR YOUTH INNOVATION CENTER PROJECT

Culture for Peace Project has the main 8 activities that are Public Library Opening, Youth Exchange Session, and Youth Talk for Peace Session, Knowledge Sharing Session, Social and Gender Equality, Social Cohesion Workshop, Youth Innovation Award and Social Culture Event. We foresee every young people in our communities winning a life of outstanding quality. Having a strong network of young people and being a partner with the experts in education, we will expand the peaceful society led by young people around the Rakhine state, Myanmar and become skillful youth innovators.

Project Objective

❖ To create a Youth Innovation centre in Sittwe by leading YIELD program of YCDN

❖ To initiative youth empowerment programs which are the social and cultural events, training, social cohesion workshop, youth talk, knowledge exchange session and innovation activities for youth including public library

❖ To create a designated environment to help the trained students look for the opportunities of higher education and jobs at humanitarian organizations

❖ To empower youths supporting their own initiatives for innovation programs by coordination, networking and sharing among the youth and professional experts

To have access of reading the books for the youth Library provided the knowledge sharing session, reading book, exchange session, gathering for meeting and training and youth talk for peace process

OBJECTIVE:

To exchange knowledge, information and skills among the youth who are working in different civic society organization in Rakhine state, The youth can exchange knowledge, information and skills to each other Access to get more opportunities for youth empowerment and participation in the community projects implementation

OBJECTIVE:

To build understanding and get more participation in the peace process in Rakhine state, Myanmar

  • ❖ Diversified youth will be understanding on the process of peace building
  • ❖ Be ready to participate in the process of peace building in Rakhine state

  • ❖ Well understanding on the process of economic, political transition in Myanmar

OBJECTIVE:

To promote knowledge in building better social community among diversified groups in Rakhine state

  • ❖ One channel among the different groups of Rakhine state (Rakhine, Mro, Thet, Dinet, Khami, Kamen, MaramaKri, Muslim) will be created
  • ❖ Accessibility to build trust and more relationship among the diversified groups
  • ❖ More participation in the social and culture events and activities by coordination among the different groups

OBJECTIVE:

To promote knowledge in building better social society and fair participation, improve women inclusion in the community activities and peace process in Myanmar
