Disaster Risk Reduction

Early Recovery Support for Flood and Covid-19 Effected Communities in Rakhine in a Multi Risk Contests Project has been implemented in (January to August) 2022. It is implemented in ten villages (Buthedaung) and ten villages (Rathedaung).

YCDN provided to the villages awareness raising on Climate Smart Agriculture training, Environmental Conservation and Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) training, Soap making training and Integrated Farming training. And then we did the practice about the respective training. YCDN implemented about the Infrastructure activities (Jetty, Road, Lake wall, Lake Development, Bridge and Watergate) and Mangrove Forest Planting. And also distributed to the participants that life jacked, soap raw materials, soil taster, radio, chicken, fish, duck and crab.
